First of all we boarded 45 minutes late. Then we all got on the airplane and sat there and didn't move for like an hour. And then finally took off.

In Flight Food Service:
Option was chicken or pasta. I picked pasta. It wasn't that bad but not good enough for me to eat more than like 3 bites. I ate the salad it came with and a roll and a cookie. And then a bag of chips I brought with me. Then this morning we got this danish thing for breakfast that was good. It had cream cheese in it. And we had oj and coffee and stuff like that. That's all.
I watched Lincoln Lawyer. It was pretty okay. I liked it. Then other than those movies they also had tv shows to watch and music to listen to and literally for the entire second half of the flight, I listened to Taylor Swift "Speak Now" on repeat. It was awesome. Album of the year in my opinion. Love me some Tay Swift.
Finished Hunger Games book 1. Barely started book 2.
Next, I get off the plane and walk and get on a tram thing and then I get to baggage claim. Then I wait for literally an hour at least and then I was starting to freak out because by that point I had seen so many bags I thought I probably just forgot what my bag even looked like. But then by some miracle it came.
Oh yeah before I got my bags I went through "immigrations". They didn't say anything to me. I just showed them my passport and they stamped my visa with the date and I walked through. It took 5 seconds. Then I had to go through "customs". Basically, there was a sign that said customs and I walked under it...and that was customs. YAY. Then I was in the lobby of the airport and I found the lady with the sign that had my programs name on it. Then me and some other kids followed her to this secret room in the airport where we got an information packet and our addresses for our houses and stuff. Then we split up into groups of who lives in the same neighborhood and then all the people that lived in the same neighborhood got in a van together and a guy took us to our houses. SO I didn't have to take the train.
Now I'm at my homestay which is an apartment with a lady and her 2 kids. Her kids are like 8 (?) and 14. She speaks english mostly but the 8 year old doesn't. I haven't met the 14 year old yet. Now she is cooking me lunch. Ps just met the 14 year old while typing this. She is adorbable.
Sorry that was probably a really boring blog. But I'm trying to stay awake so I won't be so jetlagged tomorrow because I have to go to orientation. And unfortunately everyone in America is too asleep to talk to me. Also I dunno how to put pictures on this thing so maybe I'll just do it on fb. Maybe.
Miss y'all. Ciao
